will the 4 images random image block allow me to link to an already exisiting gallery, installed separately from phpnuke? Confused

Hi, no it won't unless you create your own database connect. Right now the block uses nuke db connect. You could simple use a db connect from searching google to connect to the database that has your 4images gallery.

@nomar05
the following controls what is seen to users
Code:
        AND b.auth_viewcat=0
        AND b.auth_viewimage=0

The "0" at the end is for all users to see.
I think 1=registered, 2=admin, 3=private.
You could change the where clause to something like this.

Code:
        AND b.auth_viewcat>=0
        AND b.auth_viewimage>=0

It should cover all permissions.

admin, how easy would it be to add a refresh to the random block? And also, are protected images shown in the random block from your experience because I am doing manual refreshes and none have shown up yet but I have a couple hundred images in the gallery so before I move it from administration I wanted to have an idea.

automatic refresh should not be too difficult. I will see if I can put together a script for you.
Ajax would work great in this case though.
I will also do a closer check with the block. I deleted my local install after making some upgrades.
