Removing my own content from Google's indexYou can instruct us not to include content from your site in our index or to remove content from your site that is currently in our index. Note: If you want to direct users to a particular URL for your site (for instance, if you want them to visit http://www.example.com instead of http://example.com), don't use any of the methods below. Removing www.example.com will also remove http://example.com, and removing https://www.example.com will also remove http://www.example.com. Instead, use Webmaster Tools to safely set your preferred domain.
If the content is currently in our index, we will remove it after the next time we crawl it. To expedite removal, use the URL removal request tool in Google Webmaster Tools. You may also be interested in... |
