The front page is supposed to be a catalyst for the forums, so I really need some feedback on this. The regional structure of my site is supposed to be Dallas Fort Worth, Texas, then National. What would you change, remove or add? Is the theme appealing? Right now every member posts once or twice and never returns. Why? I send out a good looking HTML newsletter once a month to remind folks about the site and point out new stuff. Yes I'm being indexed by MSN, Yahoo and Google. http://dfwforums.net/ Thank You. The dark blue and dark grey text does not do well with the eyes. That's the only thing i see, other than that everything seems good. Posted: Sun Mar 27, 2005 6:31 pm

That has always made me scratch my chin a bit but my thought process works in the opposite direction. I prefer to surf with the lights way down or off and nothing is more shocking to my eyes than a light colored site. I guess I need to find a happy medium. What do you think of the Savvy theme? I realize that more people prefer a light color theme when the site is not about games or other entertainment. For some reason readers like a vibrant in your face type site to get their information which may explain why most huge sites use white as their base color. This theory also comes from experience creating themes for clients. Entertainment themes 99% of the time choose dark themes while the opposite for information and educational website.
