Hi Admin, I added the Easy Sub-Forums to my forum and is getting this error message.

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_ELSE in /home/www/xxxxx/modules/Forums/index.php on line 1849.

What starts line 1849 is
Code:
else
{
        message_die(GENERAL_MESSAGE, $lang['No_forums']);
}

What's should I be looking for to correct this error?. The admin section seems to be working OK.

The error is when I add the code AFTER this section " $forum_id = $forum_data[$j]['forum_id'];

Thanks

That error means there is an extra } . This part is a bit tricky since it depends on the version of phpbb and also if you had other mods installed. Could you post the codes for that file in the pastebin before you add that last bit of codes. (http://www.westernstudios.net/pastebin)

admin, OK and Thanks. I got it. You are right about the extra }.

Here is part of the code which gave the error for anyone else that might have the same issue.
Code:
   $attached_forums[] = array(
                              'sub_img'=>$attach_img,
                              'sub_alt'=>$l_attach_img,
                              'sub_name'=>$value['forum_name'],
                              'sub_url'=>append_sid ('viewforum.php?f=' . $value['forum_id'] )
                              );
                        }
                     }
notice that it has two } after ); it should be three

"MOD Description: This mod allows you to "attach" specific forums to another so that they are not displayed on the main index page but inside another forum."

But I am still seeing the attached forums on the main page. http://www.bobofindit.com/modules.php?name=Forums Where have I gone wrong.

Should I be deleting something somewhere?

Thanks

Did you add the forums as subforums inside the forum admin panel?
