Searching on Live I also noticed that my pages are ranked higher with the correct keywords compared to Google. Their image search is incredible, try searching for "xbox" on both google images and msn images and see the major difference. Give Live a try. I know Google is suppose to be all that, but they are starting to get on my nerves with all their net dominations. Posted: Tue Oct 31, 2006 10:14 am

Well, this is a completely irellevant example, it's like searching for "gmail" on google. Live is run by Microsoft, of course you are going to get all the relevant results from them when searching for their own products. I agree with sinnzofthasoul, since Google has been around for a much longer time (and has been used the most), they also have the largest databases. It takes a lot of time and effort for them to filter popular searches, and of course you are going to get the ocassional junk with the amount of stuff their crawlers are picking up. I still prefer Google. Maybe it is because I know that sooner or later, things will go bad with Microsoft's Live? Posted: Tue Nov 28, 2006 6:09 am
admin(Mark) wrote: I gave xbox as an example since it's one of the most searched for images. The fact that google is a bigger search engine should also mean they have more images but it turns out to be quite the oposite. Google site search is still top but it really is lagging behind Live when it comes to images seach. Posted: Tue Nov 28, 2006 9:58 am
