However, I notice that once the browser remains open it is possible to still view registered user options because of your cookies. But once the browser is closed, and the cookie expires you can't see registered user albums meaning that you are not logged into nuke.

For the footer, you might want to look at your theme.php

Some of the footer text is available from the Nuke Administration Preferences. Also, you cood look and see if the footer.php file is not blank (lol) but can't see why it would be.
