steps

1. Install a fresh copy of 4images 1.7.2 inside a folder named "Gallery" inside your module's folder. [ modules/Gallery/index.php]. Make sure you gallery is installed in the same database as phpnuke.
2. Use the 4images helper mod and follow the directions.[ overwrite the files on your server with those from the helper mod, then run the update script.
3. Make the small mod if you are using patched version of nuke.

You should be done now.
gallery link -> modules.php?name=Gallery
gallery admin -> modules/Gallery/admin/index.php
