I am not sure this is a good move for google as firefox will eventually fall, it's only a matter of time. I am not against firefox I just know when M$ wants to kill the competition, it will. M$ strategy is to allow firefox to kill itself but now that google is helping firefox there maybe a new turn in microsoft's strategy. They may start taking a more aggressive move to end Firefox. People are fed up with Microcrap and its software that constantly requires updates due to bugs in their original releases. IE7 borrows heavily from Firefox in its basic structure, and Microcrap are well aware of the fact that they are the ones who are now facing a limited future. Do not underestimate the power of either Mozilla or Google, most especially Google. Future plans already under development will see Microcrap lose a major share of the market for word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other utilities associated with their poorly performing Office suite. Personally, I think you will find that Microcrap will begin to lose out in many areas, they have already lost some very major law suits in recent times, and the list will grow. Linux is fast becoming a realistic alternative to Windows, especially as crossover development continues to grow allowing software developed for Windows to be used on a Linux based platform. The latest Linspire release has reduced the learning curve for people considering a transition, but who do not wish to get into complex OS. This will continue to reach into that market. My personal grudge against Microcrap is the number of updates that are required to keep their flawed systems running. They have NEVER released a product that was bug free, and generally it is found the updates total a larger package than the original. Microcrap is losing market share in a great deal of areas, a very good thing for us users it is too. Posted: Thu Dec 01, 2005 4:31 pm

MS is crap they use us as beat tester to find out what is wrong they are just like EA games. Just release now and fix it later. FireFox all the way!! Posted: Thu Dec 22, 2005 10:51 am
