Why? RSS, XML, Topic Watch, Newsletters ect, ect. Seems like there are plenty of avenues for members to stayed informed about the goings on at this or any other site. Besides. We're only talking about Mess-enger. What about Yahoo, AIM, IRC, ICQ and Jabber? Talk me into this special feature cause I just do see the benefits. Posted: Mon Apr 25, 2005 6:22 pm

I have used klips and that has been very successful, having more than 100 people viewing our data on their desktop. People like to get information with what they already have, they can't be bothered with installing new softwares. MSN messenger gives me another way to bring the information to their desktops. Alot of people have signed up. I am looking into ways to bring live data from the site to other IM clients. The goal is to get people off the blogging softwares and use what they already have to get live data. I know this may be a brave move but I would like one day for people to get all the data and downloads they need without opening a browser. You should think about the klips, it's really good and there is a large group of people using it. Posted: Mon Apr 25, 2005 6:58 pm
