I'm a retired businessman, private pilot, former Mplayer admin, former GameSpy admin and current web site admin. I know more about how to composing a message post than I do about running a web site but I'm learning.

The guy that was the admin before me defaced and ultimately destroyed the site. He kept the site owners in the dark and fed them a lot of bs about how things work (the mushroom syndrome). Because the site defacing affected me and others I decided to offer to fix it for them.

So far so good. As the members come back (there were more than 300 of them and so far 80+ have returned) I can see the need for a subscription module and that's how I've ended up here.

But being the computer junky that I am I also volunteer to test things you develop on the three web sites I admin. That's it for now.

I too found my way here by means of the Sub. Module, It works great.

I have been running a nuke site since techgxf first started adding blocks to a bb board . Many nuke mods come and go we were admins for plat for many years but support and updates has died off fast .
I dont know much about xoops but I feel safer building my own mod from nuke because when the coders quit you may be stuck with and out dated site .
Im not sure about links here but look up ravens nuke mod its simple and well supported and not so far off from stock that if they drop support that you will be lost .
