I saw a mod at phpbbhacks.com but when i try to implement it i must have screwed the install in some way. I get no errors and everything loads but i could not mke a new field or force a user to fill out certain required fields. If it made an error i would have something to go by but it didnt. Any help would be terrific.

If the fields appear in the Members List, they are fully sortable Any activated fields are displayed in the pending users list along with the IP address of the applicant All of the additional fields are editable by both user and admin via all of the normal routes.
