I am not sure what banner system you are using but this could work.

The banner system is what came with 7.6b4 called Banner Ads.

I also googled for this porblem but found nothing (yet)

For banners in the footer and header, you need to edit the theme.php file and add the values. For the forums you can edit the includes/page_header.php

First create your plans to match each place on your site that you want to place the ads.
